Built as a LB-30 this Liberator B.Mk.I was damaged while on delivery to the RAF in 1941. The aircraft was retained by Consolidated and converted to a freighter, serving throughout the war on charge of the USAAC/F, still carrying the RAF serial AM927. Photo Courtesy of W.T. Larkins
