Alfred Bernard Smith passed away peacefully on the 14th November 2012, aged ninety
Alfred served in the Royal Air Force Regiment from 1941 to 1946, he was a volunteer. He was posted to Scotland, then on to Cairo, Egypt and finally to Nairobi, Kenya. He was a Leading Aircraftsman and wireless operator. He served his nation well.
He will be missed by all of his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

R.I.P. Alfred, I assume he was a relative?

Hello Gary,
Alfred was my brother in law. A true gentleman of the old school.
Thanks Gary.
David.
PS : Hope things are going well.
